Our Up North Real Estate Story

It all started with spending weekends at a cabin on Lake Inguadona. Eventually this led to the dream of living at the cabin and helping others find their place up north! In 1977 Bill Hansen, Sr moved his family to the cabin and opened Bill Hansen Realty in Longville, MN. 

Bill Hansen Realty started with one person and the one goal of helping people with their real estate needs up north. In 1998 Bill Hansen, Jr, after nine years as a trader with Cargill, followed his dads footsteps up north to Longville to work in the family business. Since then the company has grown to include offices in Hackensack and Walker. His dad is still around giving him good advice, which usually begins and ends with “Remember, always treat your clients right”.
